Automatic payment

A payment that a cardholder sets up one time that repeats on a regular basis (usually monthly) until the cardholder takes action to stop it. You can set up an automatic payment to your credit card each month to cover a utility or cable bill, for example, or authorize an automatic payment from your bank account to pay off your credit card bill.
